| My
husband’s birthday was last
Tuesday and I spent most of the
day playing with him. He shares
his birthday with such luminaries
as Barry Bonds, Lynda Carter (Wonder
Woman), J Lo, Amelia Earhart and
Alexandre Dumas.
You
can find the names of celebrities
with whom you share a birthday
at www.famousbirthdays.com.

I actually got one of these a

and deleted it (thank goodness!).
www.snopes.com
by the way is an excellent reference

I use it extensively.

| I recently became
the Program Chair for the Phoenix
Chapter of the National Association
of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
One of my main responsibilities is
booking top-name talent to speak at
our monthly luncheons.
This
month, Loral Langemeier – The
Millionaire Maker - (www.liveoutloud.com)
graced us with her presence. She wowed
the audience with her innovative financial
concepts. Using these principles,
while running her empire and being
a single mom Loral has created 500
documented millionaires over the last
5 years!
I’ve
heard Loral speak before and loved
her which is what inspired me to invite
her to Phoenix to address. One of
the things that most impressed me
this time, however, was Loral’s
generosity. Not only did she provide
each attendee with a copy of her newest
book, Creating a Cash Machine for
Life, she also offered to give
a portion of the sales of her other
products that she sold at the luncheon
back to the chapter. I don’t
know if she does that routinely, but
it was a wonderful surprise which
none of us expected.
It is in that
same spirit that I offer you, my fans,
a similar opportunity. If you invite
me into your ‘world’ by
introducing me to your colleagues
and friends, I’d like to reward
you for that endorsement.
If
my message resonates with you and
you could see my products and services
helping your friends, associates and
colleagues, click
here to become an 'affiliate'
and earn a referral fee for introducing
me to them. Once you're signed up,
you'll receive a unique link you can
send them. Then anytime they purchase
anything from my Products
page, you'll earn 20% of whatever
they purchase - whenever they purchase
it!
If
you want to keep me to yourself and
enjoy my musings privately ,
that’s OK too. If you’re
interested in earning referral fees
though, sign
up here.

Last week,
I had a dream. Well – I had tons of dreams,
but one stuck in my mind more that the rest.
In the dream, I was on vacation
in some beautiful, exotic place. I was in a town
and there were lots of people around. I knew some
of the people but there were many I didn’t
know. We decided to go to the beach and were told
to get on a local bus which would take us right
there.
We got on the bus and rode
for a short time until the driver called out that
we had reached the stop for the beach. It looked
like we were still in town and the beach was not
in sight, but we got off and walked in the direction
he had indicated toward a big, old building. As
we walked through the entry way, a patio opened
up in front of us at the rear of the lobby. We
walked through the patio and saw several people
relaxing on the flagstone ground in swimwear,
but alas, no beach.
We walked further, this
time through a different scene, more people, more
swimwear, still no beach. We were all confused
and some people gave up and turned back. But I
and a few others believed that the beach was ‘out
there’ and kept on going. After more walking
and several more non-beach environments, the couple
of us who persisted on the journey finally arrived
at a beautiful beach.

Resource - SPEAKING TOPICS |
 |
  |
|

|
| When
people learn that I am a professional speaker, they
often ask me what topics I speak on. They wonder
if I’m a motivational speaker or if I’m
an expert in some arena. The answer is ‘yes’
and ‘yes’.
Many people who have heard me
have kindly shared with me that I inspired them
to take action in some area of their life, career
or business. I do however consider myself to be
an expert on a variety of topics. If you’ve
been a long-time reader of this PIP Tips newsletter,
you’ve probably noticed the topics I speak
on in the ‘Upcoming Events” section.
I focus primarily on management
and marketing issues. I custom-design programs
as needed. Here is a list of my most popular topics:
- Leadership that Transforms
Organizations & Delivers Results™
- Manifest Your Hire, Inspire
& Fire Power™
- Get Clients Now!™
- Ramp up your Revenue
with Referrals™
- When ‘Off with
their Heads!’ Won’t Work™
- Rejuvenation, Renewal
& Balance
- Manage Your Time &
Maximize Your Resources
- Destiny’s Doorstep
– The Path to Career Fulfillment
Many of those subjects
can be scaled from 20-minute keynotes to full
day workshops. If any of the above topics seem
of interest to you or you know of organizations
that use or hire outside speakers, please email
me or call (602.454.7787). I’m booking
events for this fall and into next year. I would
love to talk with you or your meeting planners
to help develop your group or organization to
tackle your thorniest business issues. |
